Robert Griffin III went on social media on Tuesday to talk about his top 5 Heisman frontrunners. Griffin won the Heisman in 2011 for Baylor.

The 2023 Heisman odds will continue to change with each passing week.

Griffin’s list included some of the country’s top talent. The former Baylor quarterback did include a lot of others at his old position, however.

There were a lot of great individual performances to pick from in Week 1.

One of the more exciting games involved Deion Sanders. Colorado upset No. 17 TCU behind Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

Here’s how his list looked:

  • No. 1: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
  • No. 2: Caleb Williams, QB, USC
  • No. 3: Michael Penix Jr., Washington
  • No. 4: Jordan Travis, QB, Florida State
  • No. 5: Travis Hunter Jr., CB, Colorado

There will be more chances for the players on the list to improve their standing. No. 22 Colorado to Boulder to take on Nebraska. Caleb Williams and USC play Stanford.

Penix will be playing Tulsa in Week 2, while Travis is taking on Southern Miss in Tallahassee after handling No. 5 LSU.

Should any players be higher or lower on Griffin’s list?
