Nebraska dropped a 23-20 heartbreaker in overtime at Michigan State on Saturday, further warming the seat on which head coach Scott Frost resides.

The Cornhuskers dropped to 2-3 this year with the loss and are now a paltry 14-23 under Frost since he took the job prior to the 2108 season.

In fairness, Nebraska has been more competitive in 2021.

Its 3 losses have all been by 8 points or less, with the defeats at the hands of the Spartans and rival Oklahoma coming to ranked teams on the road.

Most would also have to acknowledge that Frost’s team outplayed Michigan State on Saturday. It just made too many mistakes in the end to seal the win.

That appears to have done little to appease Cornhuskers fans and college observers, however, as Frost continues to get pounded week after week on social media.
