Caleb Williams had a strong message for Utah in Las Vegas. After winning the Pac-12 Championship Game, the Utes had a social media response ready.

Williams had “F— UTAH” spelled out on his fingernails for the game, going viral on social media before kickoff. After the game, Utah’s account tweeted a photo of the word “back” being spelled out on each of Williams’ hands. The Utes’ added USC’s frequently used 2-finger emoji to complete the back-to-back message.

For Williams and the Trojans, it was back-to-back losses to Utah. USC’s first loss of the 2022 season came Oct. 15 at Utah, 43-42. The Trojans are expected to fall out of the College Football Playoff top 4 with Friday’s 47-24 loss.

For Utah it’s also back-to-back conference titles for the first time since 2003-2004 in the Mountain West under Urban Meyer. Kyle Whittingham, who has been Utah’s head coach since 2005, also lead the Utes to a Mountain West title in 2008.
