Shilo Sanders took the spotlight from his brother, Colorado quarterback and Heisman hopeful Shedeur Sanders, and scored Colorado’s first points of the game Saturday night against Colorado State.
Shedeur got off to a rough start. Hit on a third-and-11 play on CU’s first offensive possession, Shedeur saw his pass float a bit too much and end with his first interception of the season.
That gave the Rams some momentum and a chance to take an early lead on the upstart Buffs. After the drive stalled at the CU 33, Colorado State missed a field goal. A flag on Colorado extended the drive, though.
Two plays later, Shilo jumped in front of a CSU pass and took it 80 yards to the house — his first interception of the season.

After the score, Shilo ran to his father, CU head coach Deion Sanders, on the sideline for hug.
