It was astounding to me when I couldn't watch the start of this game only to rush home and find a 21 - 0 1st quarter score. I wanted to know how many turnovers had we already committed only to find that AU just marched down the field 3 times in a row. No defense success, some same players, suspensions, and coaches. All of the above, a, b,.....ultimately this coach has to take some responsibility for what's not happening and I cannot understand why this fan base is so nonchalant about this coaching issue. Keenum, Cohen, and powers to be either want to sink back into the cellar abyss of SEC football or they are full of pride that they made a bad hire and to save their necks, they'll let the program and school suffer. Rutgers made a move yesterday, and I know it may hurt recruiting some, but MSU will have to make a change.

No get Joe Moorehead to go be a D1 coach, just go somewhere else other than MSU. Be Gone

It is clear that Moorehead could care less about players and their careets. He plays Tommy Stevens hurt, sits KT for no obvious reason, and plays a freshman that is so inexperienced that he almost hurts himself trying to do a spectacular play and still unsuccessful. This coach is in survival mode, the only skin or eligibility he is trying to save is his own. But old verse/principle: he that saves himself shall lose, but he that loses himself shall gain. You have a lot of talent, but you rather recruit reject transfers, and force MSU talent to transfer. Nick Fitz couldn't fit your scheme, but you didn't bench him, KT doesn't fit your scheme, but you won't play him, Shrader is green; and you'll let him get hurt. Be Gone Joe Moorehead so I can start bragging again. You are taking us down, and the last coach was taking us UP. Please BE GONE......

Again, I absolutely agree with this comment. Over His Head made the biggest mistake of his MSU tenure today by not playing KT and trying to win, instead of maintaining your own offensive scheme. JoMo is incompetent, Cohen hired Chris Lemonis for baseball and they were right back to Omaha, we need a competent Footbal coach and right now I don't think we have one.

I second this emotion, until the Powers wake up and realize they have hired a dud and quickly, State is about to crash land back into mediocracy at a blink of an eye. Brett Bilema at Arkansas just proved that this system is whack, an Shoop just proved that he cant coach defense. 9 years of Mullen with Diaz, Wilson, Collins, Grantham, and sorry Peter Sirmon and all of their defenses performed better than this especially at home. If you really review all your points, you come to the conclusion that Joe Moorehead has some level of incompetence starting to appear. Shrader should start or KT should play. Donw in red zone with 3rd and 2 with seconds left in game and you throw a slant. This coach is not playing to win, just wants to work his own plan that is not working that well. Be Gone.....

Now I am really upset. Someone called JoMo Over His Head a few days ago on a comment log and it it true. Today He should have played Shrader earlier or play KT. If you underestimate your opponent, have players suspended, and are defensively weaker; your offense has to come out early on fire and it took a quarter before they woke up. Joe Morehead is not the right coach here, and I hate to see a season fall apart this early. Somebody help us.

Because they are fans, short for FANATICs... Clearly TS must improve and glad KT decided to stay according to reports...TS does not appear an overwhelming starter, he just knows JoMo system slightly better, and he is not that great of a runner and Falsely advertised. JoMo is in survival mode as I stated a few days ago. There is a demand for improvement over his head, even at the cost of a few players and careers. Win he's good, lose He's Gone.....???

This reference to ESPN is unclear. Are you saying TS should get a higher rating or lower. Was he good or bad in your opinion?

don't always agree with these comments, but the AU game has indeed been MSUs measuring stick. They beat Auburn and usually do well, lose and its a toss-up. Lose to Auburn this season and LSU, Arkansas could be losses too. QB play was OK but not overwhelming, suspensions hurt but defense must improve. The drop-off is obvious. allyalldawg

Joe Moorehead has switched into survival mode already in yr2. He already underperformed with a stud defense and a MullenMover offense. Mullen goes to Florida and makes Felipe Franks a MullenMover offense and Joe Moorehead looks like a JarHead. We will need a new coach w/in 2 years because something just doesn't feel right. Hate to hate on my heart, but sum, sum ain't right. Go Dogs....

Where are you getting the equal or better stuff from. He got beat out by McSorley with Moorehead as OC. Really is a dumb statement to make that he's better and Franklin let him walk. Who do you know that's letting winners walk. Come on man

This is exactly what we expected when TS announced he would transfer to MSU. Moorehead couldn't sit NickF last season for poor play but will undermine KT's growth as a QB..If MSU underachieves this year like they did last year, i'm hoping John Cohen will sit Moorehead also. This almost looks like a desperate attempt to hold on to a job that some believe is over your Moorehead...I can't see TS w/ better arm than ?Trace Mac otherwise he'd be a PennSt. I was beginning to believe in Moorehead a little after recent recruiting, but this decision could split and locker-room and possibly a fan base. Hope this puts something on your mind. If KT transfers and State flounders, please do something soon about Moorehead before we dive back into mediocrity again...allyalldawg..

So you have not realized that JoMo picked TraceMc at PennSt over TS. If JamesFrnklin picked TraceMc over TS then yes it could be a matter of race TBD, but I see no way even if he starts TS over KT that JoMo or TS can really WIN. If JoMo sat TS at PennSt, he will also have to sit him at MSU, it is just a matter of time...This is allyalldawg predicting beforehand that TS and KT are about the same and that JoMo is putting his tenure at MSU in jeopardy more than helping and old jilted student athlete. This whole battle seems needless to me. Last year we lost to Kentucky b/c you would not sit NF. Lost game in 4th quarter. Kentucky later beat PennST and the vaunted Trace McSorley. While Kentucky was winning did they try TS or was he the reason they lost. My gut say TS is not the answer, but I hope they figure that out w/in the first 2 games. KT deserves the chance 2prove....

Fights broke out everywhere after that night on campus because MSUvsMSU fans were frustrated.
