The very next article on this website includes death threats made to one of the Florida players posted to Instagram. I am not trying to defend coach McElwain, and I think moving on from him was the correct choice, but implying that the death threats he mentioned were in no way substantiated is just foolish.

That 3.7 ypc accounts for yardage lost due to sacks, so it is a bit skewed to say limiting carries to one primary back would improve the number drastically. Accounting for just yardage for designed runs, Florida averaged 4.7 ypc. It would seem to improve upon raising the overall ypc, what really needs to happen is improved pass protection. Perhaps Jordan should worry about his blitz pick up and pass receiving, which would help his QBs not take so many sacks.
