A coach can hound a recruit for 4+ years. Promise him the world, and after he signs and walks on campus the coach can "transfer" to a better paying gig. And the player has no recourse. As a Gamecock fan I'm all for turbulence in the Clemson locker room. But I also think Bryant did the right thing. There's no use in a starting QB holding a clip board wasting a year of eligibility.
How is the "U" still ranked?
Nobody, outside of Tuscaloosa knew who Finebaum was until he was hired by the The Disney Corporation. He owes his entire career to Nick Sabin.
Good for him. It takes a lot of maturity to do what this cat did.
A whole section of bad asses, who have never met a bad ass.
