Negan, You are delusional. Whether the money comes from ”businesses” or boosters, it won’t drive Bama or Clemson players to Georgia or vice-versa. A car dealership in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham will pay the same amount as a car dealership in Athens or Atlanta. Besides…you’re thinking all of these players are gonna be rolling in large amounts of cash…some of them may get decent sponsorships, but the majority of them will get sponsorships in the $100’s… not six figures. Saban and 6 natty’s are Bama’s greatest selling points…not making $500 for being the face of the local bakery.

I disagree. The big difference is that Kiffen had a veteran QB and a couple really good receivers. Plus, he’s coached in the SEC for quite a few more years than Heupel. Most Vols fans are trying to temper their expectations while remaining realistic. But the lack of depth, experience, elite players, and true playmakers on their defense will DOOM them this season. Vols fans keep talking about how great Bailey is at QB, but he has no proven receivers other than Jones, who honestly speaking is not that great. Couple that with a complete lack of proven or elite RB’s and a completely rebuilt O-line, and I don’t think their offense will be very good at all the season. They will struggle to win 4 games in my opinion.
