can't argue with anything you said. Like most Aggie fans, I just want one NC, preferably in the next 3 years. Can't believe all the commotion (negative press); was it like this for Georgia before last year?
I think so, too. I predict that both A&M and LSU win NC's in the next 7 years, and LSU spends less to make it happen.
Wow. What a hypocrite you turn out to be; demanding respect for a corrupt, lying coach and then threatening a teenage athlete. Get help.
I totally respect Saban for what he has accomplished, but he lied and Jimbo called him on it. Negan, consider me Rick. Get over yourself. You don't get to make the rules, nor deny anyone freedom of speech. If Bama fans want their coach treated with more respect, they should show more respect. For now, I'd settle for less denial of the facts. Respect is a 2-way street.
why don't you drop the childish namecalling ("Bimbo", clown) and pointless insults; they add nothing to your argument and say nothing about us or Jimbo but say a lot more about you. Yes, I called Saban a liar, because he did lie, and then I backed it up. Your arguement is all insult, namecalling and no facts, just opinion. I don't know what Jimbo knows about Saban's recruiting in the past, but his comments suggest he does know more than he's letting on, which Saban fully understands. I actually admire Saban for what he has accomplished, and I'd be happy with 1 Natty at A&M, but Saban crossed the line, probably not intentionally, but Yes, it did get Jimbo's ire up because the integrity of his program and his players were questioned. Before Saban won his first NC at Bama, he had #1 recruiting classes, but his first teams had mediocre seasons, yet he got blue-chippers to buy into his vision (congrats! it's worked well). But when Jimbo does the same thing, no one believes that kids would go to A&M and we are made to endure insults and accusations that Saban and his folks did not have to endure. Why the double standard? Did Bama under Saban pay those players? I think they did, but I don't have proof, so I don't go around making accusations. Why can't we get the same courtesy? Seems double-standard to me.
Yes, Saban lied. He said A&M bought their whole team. Whole team. Lie. At that time, only 11 of the 30 new recruits were on campus; of those, only one had an NIL deal. LIE LIE LIE and you guys DENY DENY DENY
Didn't bother me, but journalists like to stir the pot. If it were up to me, I'd take OU and OSU in the SEC, instead of OU and tu. I get that it's about money, but these other schools just don't get how toxic the cows, their program and their fans can be. I know a lot of good Sooner fans I enjoy kiddin' around with, and I'm more than glad to welcome Boomer to the SEC. but those cows...
typical arrogance we've come to expect from crimson fans. Just admit that Saban lied. Everyone says Jimbo "over-reacted," even ranted, but these are real kids from real families, with their integrity libeled by saint Nick. what a jerk! And Jimbo was sticking up for his kids when he went after Saban. Sankey is too gutless to do the right thing. I don't care what the media says, Jimbo has acted with integrity, and that's an area that's sadly lacking in the Alabama community right now.
I'm impressed that so far everyone on this thread who took the time to post a comment has questioned PF's take, at least on this issue. As a member of the media, PF wants to be read and be relevent, but he's definitely taken an anti-Jimbo agenda lately. It's like he wants to turn the Aggie fan base against him. I think we all agree that to be considered successful at A&M, he (Jimbo)needs to be more than a spoiler, but I also agree with you guys it's way too early to say he should be on the hot seat. Yes, he will eventually need to win his division, but like every other program, we want the whole enchilada (NC). I personally wish there was more civility (less namecalling, mocking, ridiculing, etc), so all the above comments were a fresh and welcome sight.

Bama has been playing good ball lately. I hope they get a good seed in a good regional. We were fortunate to pull out the W after some early errors and falling behind 6-1,but we've also been hot lately
actually, Saban did violate SEC by-laws in his personal attacks on Jimbo and A&M.
Add me to the list of Aggies who agree we are ranked too high at #5 this early, especially with our current QB uncertainties. Every year we think will be the year our WR's blossom, but it still hasn't happened. And I can't get over how many in the media can't piece it together that this great class we just signed all played high school last year, so logic suggests that we might be ready to contend for CFB in 2-3 years. I see us in the top 10 maybe, but let's see how we fare against Miami and Arky before talking about play-off hype for this year.
don't worry; beating Fla won't be a signature win for anyone (maybe Vandy) for many years.
