One more, one more. I didn't think there were BOWL games in baseball.
Players with the most Runs Locked In?
The title does imply the article would reveal which Bama QB should be trusted; maybe the "answer" is that they don't trust any of them!
An OC exercises his constitutional right to freedom of speech. Personally,I feel he should have ignored this, or given it to their PR team to handle, but why is this NOT-WORTHY-of-MEDIA-ATTENTION item even on this (or any) website? We can only hope that certain editors suddenly decide it's time to trim their budgets with timely lay-offs, so we don't have to wade through the broth to find a morsel of meat.
Thanks. Although I'm sure Bama fans will disagree, it's looking more and more like the SEC-W won't be decided until the last game of the season, when the Aggies play LSU. Shaping up to be a big game.
Click bait from someone who doesn't know what he's talking about, but repeats what he hears from others.
your cows aren't returning to the SEC; tu's attempt to overshadow A&M isn't going to garner much traction here. A&M has been around longer than tu, it has a larger campus and over 10,000 more students. Oh, and our O-line eclipses your pathetic O-line; it's not even close, the importance of which you will learn painfully as you leave the B12.
I was wondering the same thing... Do your Tigers play Bama? UGA?
In fairness, the overall reaction of the UT student body and fans after the bonfire disaster was heartwarming, impressive and unexpected. Sadly, it was short-lived. And I will acknowledge that there are some good sports on BOTH sides that maintain a good rivalry and mutual respect. But... in general, I was glad to get away from the constant unfairness. During the 1980's while SMU was getting the death penalty and even A&M got a probation that may have cost them a '93 Natty, the Horns cheated like there was no tomorrow and always got away with it, largely because the biggest whistleblowers were DMN (Dallas Morning News) sports journalists who were tu grads and were aware of the Austin shenanigans but never reported on those, just the ones involving rival schools. And don't get me started on the unfairness of the Longhorn Network. What a recruiting advantage, when you can offer to televise a blue-chipper's Friday night HS game. Welcome to the SEC; goodbye LHN!
And I put my recant in the wrong place! I'm going to quit posting after 10pm. Friends, please consider these last 2 posts of mine as though I had made them after my next post further down.
OOOPS! My bad! I thought he wrote the article. I own up to my screw-up and apologize to Mr McElroy for judging him harshly and unfairly.
A respectable journalist will openly disclose any potential conflict of interest or bias and then write in such as manner as to impress the reader with his/her impartiality. McElroy is entitled to an opinion, but then it should appear in the Opinion Column or a letter to the editor. Walter Cronkite, he is not.
They display the worst sportsmanship of any fanbase I have seen, which is the main reason I would rather not play them. I was so glad when we joined the SEC. But after 2 years, I think everyone in the SEC will see for themselves. OU has a lot of good fans, and I welcome them.
truth. part of me wanted us to get it over with and lose, so we could go home and rest up for the regionals. but thank you all for your kind remarks.good sportsmanship among fans still exists! good luck to us all in our respective regionals!
I'm a big Aggie fan; I admit that when Petrino's hire was announced, I had serious reservations. But now that I've heard Finebaum's position, I feel much better about the hire. Gig'em
we've played true freshmen all year and paid for it. by the end of the first year, they're starting to look good. If you don't play'em, they transfer!

That was not storming the field, at least not for A&M. Go back and look, kitty, and you see mostly green field. Now, go back last year and look after we beat Bama at home: not a speck of green. Now THAT was storming the field.
Um, this isn't storming the field, at least not at A&M. There's a LOT more green that people. Go back and look at when we beat Bama last year; you won't see a speck of green. Now THAT'S storming the field. This is just the usual crowd.
That game was embarassing since I still feel we have elite talent on D, but we left a huge open "bubble" on the left side of your line, so I think the Pirate was, as he said, "taking what the Aggies gave us." He still plans to pass, pass, pass, but those running plays ate clock (mercifully).
Yup. I might not want to watch this game. Hope Bryce is OK; think he'll still be top draft pick, or does this hurt his chances. Still be first round, either way.
Sumlin inherited JFF but was dead in the water after Johnny left (after his sophomore year! grrr) No, Sumlin was not better than Jimbo. He started every season undefeated for 5-6 games and would get us in the top 10, but after we lost the first game, we'd lose 3 more and end up 8&4, unranked.
Totally disagree! MSU could lose 2 conference games!
Yes, but LSU wins NC's and we don't. I mean, they win a Natty with Ed O, and we can't win a Natty with Stallings or Bryant.
I've been rooting for the Ags since mid-70's; we got to #2 in '75, I think, then got blown out by Arky and dropped like a rock. Then Slocum got us an undefeated season in 92 or so, but a tie with SMU at the Alamodome compounded by being on probation (no bowl game) cost us consideration in both polls. Otherwise, Jimbo and Kellon Mond got us to 4 after the 2000 Orange bowl. I sincerely appreciate the non-toxic comments from all over. Although I'm still on the Jimbo bandwagon, I am concerned about his inflexibility and lack of insight. Personally, this is how I see it playing out: despite his 5-year presence, he is stacking top 5 classes for 3 years, culminating with his recent top class; he will NOT start Weigman this year unless he has no choice(injuries to QB1&2). AD, chancellor and BOR watch as this class matures, which could take as long as 2026, assuming Weigman redshirts now and stays 4 years. If he gets it done, you all eat crow (I may dead by then; I'll just haunt ya instead). by that time, he'll have 4 years left on contract, and the buy-out will be affordable, if he doesn't come up with a Natty (do I hear a CFP playoff spot? a NY6 bowl? anything?!?), but that timetable gets moved up before 2026 if Weigman transfers or some other catastrophe happens. Fortunately, those never happen in College Station. just in Starkville...
Here drink some of our kool-aid (maroon; you'll like it). Then you'll start seeing what we see!
