Not sure where you live, but Fulmer was a football coach, not an AD. If you think his performance as an AD will be great, let's just see who he hires. If Auburn, or any team in the West can get great QB play, they can be competitive with Alabama and nationally. (Just ask Ole Miss) LSU will always have talent, but agree, not sure about Coach O, he may tun out to be a grass eater. TAM will be better, but year in and year out, they must have a good QB or refer to the UCLA game and you will see their future. In the 80's, 90's and early 2000's, Alabama would get 4 & 5 star players, while Auburn got 3 & 4 stars, but Tuberville knew how to coach, and he spanked the tide during his 11/12 year time, than anyone else in the SEC. The West will still be King, but agree with you, East is coming back, I just want South Carolina or Tennessee to get strong enough to knock Georgia off their perch. Bottom line, Auburn created Stability in their program, and you as a Bama fan might not like that, but it is, what it is. Cheers

WOW, Saban learned that if you just have a Pro Style QB, you will not win in the SEC or the NC, so he went out and got two QB's. Wondering out loud, if you don't have a great QB, how far will you go with a great team? Your answer is Capt. Obvious. And remember all those years before Saban, Alabama sucked...you had some reprieve with Gene, but that was it.

Auburn Grad here from the early/mid 80's, and the culture has not changed a bit in Athens from when I was a student. Not sure why there is so much animosity since our schools are tied so closely together. Many of the same families that are honored on the Auburn campus are Georgia honorees as well. Two of our greatest coaches of all times went to the other school, who both later became AD's. Sanford Stadium is the only place I have been chased out of, twice. And it was nothing I had done except cheer my team on. This was when both team lost at home regularly, and the home fans were not too happy. I realize there are many Georgia fans who never attended the University of Georgia who are classy people, but all fan bases have their bad apples. But please, don't make excuses for these mindless fools. Your synopsis on the Georgia G fans maybe where you sit, but your stadium is 6th largest in the nation, and not everyone thinks or acts like you and/or your friends. If you think being overly nasty and threatening is atypical of Georgia fans, Alabama fans would have said the same thing, except for a gentleman named Harvey Updike, a State Trooper from the Great State of Texas who felt slighted due to his perception of some facts he thought were important. He poisoned some trees that meant a whole lot to the Auburn fan base. He was actually lucky the day he self reported himself, for if the poison would have reached the water table (it almost did) then Mr. Updike would have been dealing with Homeland Security enforcement, He would have been branded a terrorist, and the Feds would not have been as blind or forgiving as the Alabama courts, but I digress. My point was, normally good natured people become irrational at times, and if spitting, throwing bottles, and making rude comments to women and to people they don't know to show their displeasure, then their parents should be proud of them. My wish is that you truly are able to work on the anger issues some of your fan base shows, and stop pointing fingers at others while dismissing the truth that's been prevalent for over the past 30+ years. And thanks, but no thanks on the tickets, I have been treated better multiple times in Tuscaloosa, Starkville (had hearing problems for days), Baton Rouge, Gainesville, Oxford and even Tallahassee.

Nothing was "stolen" from Ole Miss, Auburn took it....you have every right to be mad, but don't go childish on us. Landsharks..? where were they? If Dak Prescott is healthy, Ole Miss will be Sharkbate, not Landsharks.

My hopes are this guy did not do this on purpose, for if he did, he needs to be gone. You can't buy class; your parents either taught it to you or they did not. Hope Treadwell a speedy recovery.
