What you’re suggesting is breathtakingly absent of reason and tbh either a result of genuine ignorance or intentional disregard for truth. For starters, absolutely no one is advocating for police/military to have any interchangeability. No one. There is zero support for police to be judge, jury and executioner. And that would include most, if not all, LEO’s. Your attitude appears to be motivated almost entirely by extremely ignorant assumptions that are typically word-of-mouth sources. Are you confusing real life with movies such as The Negotiator and 2Guns? I mean don’t get me wrong, I have no doubt corruption in some police precincts/sheriff offices/etc are corrupt from top down and then some no doubt have officers that should have never been officers. Idk where you live, but sounds like you need to alter the local leaders. I mean you realize that if a police dept is corrupt, then your mayor either knows and is complicit or just goes along. Fascinating to see the maskers repeating the false narrative that somehow not wearing a mask or not completely locking down our country is to be blamed for this possibility. Never mind that the “experts” have flip flopped on this issue and pretty much every single other issue regarding Covid-from how significant a vector asymptomatic people are to how effective sunlight is killing the virus. Stay home you say. Never mind that the most effective way to spread the virus is to be in close quarters with others and the daytime outside is literally the safest. Just wear your mask you say. Never mind the very real and universal health risks that come from wearing contaminated masks for excessive periods of time. Never mind your so called “experts” like Fauci were interviewed and laughingly said there is “no reason for people to be walking around with masks on”. Masks are slightly effective in the most ideal situations. This would be sterile environments like operating rooms. Yes in health care settings they can be effective. General public? Gtfoh. And the derision towards anything outside of what you sheep are garnering your info from, the MSM, is typical. Unfortunately. Despite what you have been told, there is a plethora of legit and peer reviewed articles, studies, and investigations into a myriad of these so-called “conspiracy theories”. What you need to be questioning is the uniformity in the sources from whic ha you derive your opinion. Wake up. Most disappointing of all is the lack of outrage by one of the most die hard fan bases of any sport in the land. My father performs tracheostomy’s on COVID patients, Masks do literally next to nothing. The only masks that help are N95 and that’s only for the person wearing it. Stop doing what your told just because “they” told you to. It’s not smart and it’s not scientific. If you cannot see the contradictions and lies from day one regarding this virus then you are blind. And it is still a Corona virus...it’s not some super virus. Almost everyone who contracts this virus will either be completely asymptomatic or have something similar to the common cold. Only folks with pre-existing conditions (diabetes, obesity, COPD, etc) are at risk of having an extreme acute reaction. 90% or more of those hospitalized fit the above description.
