I agree with some of what the Ags are saying. Yes, Texas needs/wants a strong SoS, which speaks to us booking the LSUs, Ohio States, etc of the world. We still have our 'pay-to-play' opponents, just like A&M does. But where we differ is why A&M won't play. It's pure petulance at this point. Yes, you love the SEC and you're better off there, we get it. I don't blame you, it's a way better conference. But that said, what's wrong with the two biggest programs in the biggest football state getting together, even every other year, and proving who is the big dog on the block? Nothing, that's what. So if you want to hold your breath, chant "SEC" like it's going out of style, and claim that "we don't need to play Texas" then fine, have it your way and take your toys and go home.
