As a team Auburn has been erratic but the RB position has been very steady. If the author of this article had bothered to do any research he would have learned that Auburn currently has 7 consecutive seasons of having at least 1 RB reach 1,000yds. That's a pretty good indicator that there is consistently quality depth at the RB position.
Hell yeah! Once this nonsense is over the ones who are not expelled from the university should be required to acknowledge their athletic-privilege before returning to their football scholarships. Too many people in this world try to exploit power they do not possess and end up looking like jackasses. Know your role.
I agree and I hope he doesn't lose his job over this insanity. I hope every player who refuses to participate in his scholarship requirements is suspended.
3 guys I would put on their list: 1. Bo Pelini 2. Bobby Petrino 3. Lane Kiffin
It seems odd that he would quit midseason.
He got into a bar fight Saturday night, that was the final straw.
Maybe the talking heads on SECN say that but nobody here in Auburn is relying on Cowart for anything other than a bit of added depth. Lawson is the DL that we are relying on to be our leader and to be to our D what Fowler was to Muschamps D last year, and he has every bit of the size and skill to do it.
Auburn doesn't host Louisville, they play the Chic-Fil-A Kickoff Classic in the Georgia Dome.
This article didn't mention the real obvious reason why Auburn easily had the toughest schedule in the nation. Hell it might be among the toughest of all time, I challenge anyone to find some tougher ones. So the reason is simple.....Auburn played ROAD games at 5 of the top 13 teams in the final regular season AP poll. Those 5 brutal road games and playing 10 bowl eligible teams make a hell of a brutal schedule.
That has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever read. SoS is independent of your performance. If Bama and La-Monroe played an identical schedule their SoS would also be identical.
Fantastic. If he had some talent and skill to go along with "it" you guys would be all set.
Malzahn has been at AU for four years, not three as the article states.
