Scott graduated from USAFA, Class of '20. He is a 2nd LT in the Air Force taking graduate courses at Alabama with the permission of the US military and had a year of NCAA eligibility left. President Trump made it possible for all Academy graduates to delay their service commitment for a chance to try out for a professional position in the sport they played at the Academy. He will eventually have to serve his 6 year commitment if he does not get onto a professional roster.
