It's amazing to me how every football team at every level aspires to win by playing sound, fundamental football which includes running the ball and playing good defense. The Big 12 puts up flashy numbers all season beating up on every weak school in every weak conference and then when they play a team with a Defense, their high powered offense seems to be a little "off" that day. Reminds me of 1992 when a high powered offense from Miami with a Heisman Trophy winning QB named Gino Toretta played Alabama in the Sugar Bowl for the National Championship. The Hurricanes were big favorites. They ran into and were dominated by a "boring" Alabama Team and got their butts kicked 34-10. It won't be long before Fox gets smart like ESPN did and fires this loser. He can then go back to the Pacific Northwest where they play exciting football and we in the south will still be playing boring football and winning Championships.
