Since the ejection was in the second half, it's for the rest of that game and first half of the next. In this case, it's basically a slap on the wrest with just a half game suspension.

How about we hang little flags off the sides of the players. Since we are talking about fundamentally changing the game, let's take down those expensive jumbotrons and not keep score. What about eliminating all technology from the game and have the qb the play on the ground. At the end of the year, everbody gets trophies.
