In Alabama, you must have a conceal carry permit to carry a gun in a car. Read the laws. That is why the officer stated he did not have a proper conceal carry permit which is needed to carry a pistol in a car.
MSUDawg31. You are wrong. "well-regulated" in the historical context of the 18th century in which it was written means properly functioning. This was a common phrase in that time period. It absolutely did not mean government oversight or control. The founding fathers were trying to get away from rule by a king, and give protection to the people from the newly formed government and its president.
