The really puzzling thing is why the AD gave Orgeron a 5 year contract with a $12m buy-out, and this to a coach who was not rehired by USC and was fired by Ole Miss. It's not like he had any other offers. Another year as interim should be the most he got, and that on a trial basis. SO it's time to hold the AD accountable and fire him, so a new AD can work on finding a coach with a winning record.

I can't see the justification for a 5-year contract for Coach O. It's not like he had other options or there was any competition for his talents. I'd have said a two-year try-out, with an option for renewal at the end of Year One, and no buy-out clause.
