check your numbers again ncaaviolator. LSU is tied for 4th with number of players active in the NFL currently. and sits at a healthy 8 fewer players in the league than alabama. 1) Alabama (64) 2) Florida (58) 3) Miami (57) 4)Georgia/LSU (56). So... yeah, LSU is talented, but not AS talented.
backwards passes (laterals) are allowed to hit the ground and be recovered... its not considered a fumble
Unless there was a rule change I haven't seen you can't cut block outside of the tackle box. So, an illegal block led to an injury...
The question is, does TCU belong there at all? I don't think so. They have multiple last seconds wins by the skin of their teeth against unranked opponents. Hardly deserving of a playoff spot.
dont worry matt, maybe in 10 more years georgia will be relevant again
8 yards per reception, 70+ yards and 2TD for Cooper in the Sugar Bowl... I wouldn't exactly say they "shut him down".
So Alabama has three of their last four games against ranked opponents, two of which are ranked in the top five, and you feel the need to point out the one cupcake team between the top five teams? How many top 5 teams do the noles face this season?
i just realized that you specified 10+ win teams, not those conferences in general. oh well
as everybody before has said, numbers (usually) dont lie. however, yours do. Alabama alone, has two Big 10 victories and one ACC victory that you havent accounted for. 2011: Penn State, 2012: Michigan, 2013: Virginia Tech, and if you include this years Big 12 victory against West Virginia, that brings your total up to 5-5 using JUST Alabama's record. Next time, dig harder... Numbers dont lie.
