Folks need to really be very careful about writing stories and using "players not getting compensated" or "unpaid". Athletes DO get compensated. The issue is they don't see the cash in hand (well, they're not suppose to), and as a result this fiction keeps being propagated as non-fiction.

If the LSU numbers include the USC game...shame, shame...that should not be held against LSU... If you insist on including that game, put an asterisk next to your numbers and at least acknowledge the circumstances surrounding that game. Also, it's usually customary that folks cite their sources for data.
