I also think rivalry games are overblown, and your solution works just fine. But it’s “tradition” that seems to be the culprit. Fine! Put Auburn and GA in the same division.
Agree. And I really don’t want to see the end of the season become a bunch of coaches begging. What’s next, begging on Aflac commercials?
It’s the fact that the gave him a primetime slot to do his begging. TCU should get equal on air, in-game time if that’s the way this is going to be. Should he grovel during Aflac commercials as well? I like Saban, but NCAA football shouldn’t be this pathetic.
I’m insulted that Saban was allowed on the halftime show, lobbying like that. Won last three games? Those are not impressive wins. If Kirby goes on air basically begging the committee, I’ll know he’s basically done coaching.
Relevant in the sense that we're talking about a hypothetical rematch. My personal preference is the better team, but I just don't think that is the case anymore.
Point taken, but you forget that UT was the hottest team, and OSU is a POS
My preference is for Georgia to just take all four of the top spots. It would look like this: 1. Georgia 2. Georgia 3. Georgia 4. Georgia
I think Bama being where they are has more to do with when they lost their second game. It’s better to lose early than late.
Agree, Bama probably wins rematch by two TD’s
Also, imo, Georgia’s win over a then-ranked #1 Tennessee is better than Michigan’s win against a then-ranked #2 OSU.
Man, I hate Florida and used to really hate Spurrier. I’ve enjoyed watching the coaching carousel these last few years. But now it’s getting to the point of watching a wounded animal…kinda sickening. My advice is to support Napier. Give him a chance. Otherwise, you’re just turning into Southern Auburn.
I’m curious to see if Georgia’s offense will truly open up in the postseason. Kirby has intentionally been shutting things down once each win is secured, knowing that opposition will have less film to review. This strategy bugs me though, since it make for boring games and hinders offensive recruitment.
Yeah, he’s definitely not Aaron Hernandez material, so wouldn’t make it at UF
