I watched it with exactly that rule in mind - he didn't hit the head or neck area. Are you still ignoring the hit on Kyler Murray? No matter what you think RSJ did wrong, the hit on Murray was worse.
I'd suggest you go back to watch that play again - RSJ did not make contact with the player's head. It was incredibly unfortunate that the player suffered what appeared to be a major injury to his knee, but the hit was legal. On the other hand, however, the other Auburn defender in on the play DID hit a sliding Kyler Murray in the head which actually should have earned a targeting penalty given. Before you fire back yelling about how much nonsense I'm feeding you, at least go watch the replay in slo-mo. If you're a reasonable person, you'll certainly see it the way I do.
