Dude what are you even talking about with Florida? They ALWAYS wear orange helmets. They just don't typically wear orange jerseys, which is why the all orange uniform combo was unique. Florida's alternate helmet this year was the white dual logo one. Kinda sad that a reporter who covers the SEC doesn't know what each team's standard helmets look like. I'm just a fan and I could do that.

Don't worry, Kyler. You can just transfer to Florida. A 5-star QB recruit like yourself shouldn't have to sit on the bench when the Gators don't have a 5-star QB at all!

Not to mention the separation between UF at #2 and TAMU is not very big. TAMU is still a good school. Try not to take it personally.

I'm sure he's aware of Tennessee's recruiting, but his point is that they are unproven and he's completely correct. Good recruiting classes and potential are not guarantees that Tennessee will be a powerhouse next year. If those were guarantees, Muschamp and the Gators would have won a national title a couple years ago. Tennesee needs to have a double-digit win season before we start discussing them as one of the East's top-tier teams.

He posted double-digit wins seasons a few times at Clemson. Don't you think he could do the same with at UF, with a higher talent level and better recruiting base. I firmly believe that we are a more talented team than FSU, we just need a better coach to get us the W. I think Swinney could do it.

Driskel has to be done now. I don't think there's a single Florida fan who wants to see him take the field again. Muschamp's best chance to keep his job is to let Treon Harris take over and label this a rebuilding year in which we try to get a young QB some experience. If we show a little improvement over the course of the rest of this season, Muschamp and Roper might be allowed back next year under that hope that with Treon Harris under center, plus some OC consistency that Driskel never had, it might be the start of a new era. Muschamp can only hope that Jeremy Foley overlooks the fact that great recruits seem to come to UF and get worse.

If the Gators could air on something other than the SEC Network for a change so I could actually watch it at home instead of spending a ton of money sitting a sports bar, that would be excellent.

Thank you for this. We're coming off a 4-8 season where Driskel was injured. He's allowed to be rusty against Bama on the road. No one expected us to win that one. Let's see how he does through October before we throw him to the wolves.

Way too early to make such a bold prediction. The Gators are 2-1 with their only loss coming to #3 Alabama, which is the only game in which the offense looked bad. They're dominating turnover margin, as well. The defense got tired out against Bama, but that was the exception, not the rule. When they beat Tennessee next weekend, you'll be singing a different tune.
