Out of the goodness of her heart? She did it to cover her own ass. She wasn't a good tutor and was worried she was going to be fired. She then tried to extort the university by threatening to tell the NCAA what she did unless she was paid off. So, yeah, she was motivated by her own greed and selfishness. NCAA investigation found she was not told to do this by anyone. Look at the facts of the case before making assumptions.
No, Mizzou wasn't on probation in any of these sports and Mizzou football in fact had NEVER been on probation before.
