Can anyone with intelligent life explain why the targeting was reversed to TN's advantage and then not called in anotherr?

You can watch any college game and see that the officials, mainly the line judges, are out of position most every play. A play close to the goal line in the middle of the field in an obvious run play, the line judges stand as far away as possible; off the actual field. Then, come running up the goal line to the middle of the field to try and spot and accurate spotting of the ball or fumble recovery.

1 question to you all out there in this great CFB world, what is the difference in allowing the average fan in to watch the game and allowing a band in? Doesn't seem much difference to me! You can't have a CFB game without the support of the teams band playing throughout the game. This C19 has made these decision makers make some stupid and liberal decisions that they don't care how their decisions effect the game. The band's are students, the fans aren't. I can't imagine the IRON BOWL without both bands there to support their teams. How does not having the band there have anything to do with the spread of C19?

I have an issue with the CFB rules committee allowing LSU to wear white as their home jerseys in post season games. The agreement with the sec is for reg season games. The SEC CHAMP game the West winner, LSU, was designated home team. They wore white. Peach BOWL vs OKL, LSU being the higher ranked team was the home team wore white. NATL CHAMP vs CLM they are highest ranked team and home team. They will have white and CLM orange. If you are going to have a rule, enforce it for all and stop showing favoritism. Stop giving into LSU so much. It's time to force them to wear their gold and purple home jerseys that they hate wearing. RULE 1-4-5b

Buckeye nation you had opportunities in the 1st qtr to really put CLM behind the 8 ball with red zone opportunities for TD's. However, being a former official myself, it's made me see both sides of the argument but in this case it was obvious that the replay official simply screwed up. A game should NEVER be decided by an officials call but in this case it was. The officials on the field got the call right Buckeye fans; remember that when complaining. It was the replay official with the overturn. As an ALA fan and a CFB fan period I hate that your season ended on such a sour note.

As far as playoff, 6 teams. Your 5 power 5 conf champs are automatic bids with the 1 wildcard team being the highest ranked team in the final poll following the conf champs. The highest ranked nonconf winner. Your top 2 seeds have 1st round bye while 3 hosts 6 and 4 hosts 5 on campus. Take 2 winners vs top 2 seeds in 1st playoff rd in 2 playoff bowls. Eliminate this committee and use the AP and Coaches poll or use computer like BCS where all teams could be evaluated weekly on sched and performance and head to head. 1 more thing. Do away with preseason top 25 polls. Everyone starts out unranked and after 4 weeks the rankings are put out based on performance during those 4 weeks by computer. This way a preseason team that may start out outside the top 20 could possibly start out much higher ranked and undeservingly so. Everyone starts equal and has to earn their ranking and the same ole teams wouldn't dominate the top 10 every year that maybe weren't worthy starting out.

Obviously they don't remember the classic 2000 Orange Bowl when a Sr QB for MICH named Tom Brady beat AL in OT 35-34. Don't tell me these games dont mean something to these teams. Maybe not to fans of today's generation but you are the fans who will show up at kickoff and leave mid 4th even in a close game to beat traffic. Tell Coach Saban and Harbough this game is useless. 2007, Sabans 1st yr at AL, went 6-6. Got a bowl invite. Got 15 extra practices for returning players in 2008 and finished reg season 12-0.

Being a GA fan I suppose you are how do you feel about this scenario: Jan 2019 GA lost to TX in Sugar Bowl after a dismal effort from the lack of starters not playing. Jan 2020 GA plays Baylor and again GA has players who are declaring for the draft sit out this game. Same result will happen. Look how far New Orleans is from GA. Why would you or any GA fan spend their money on tickets, fuel, eats and hotel just to go watch replacement players fill in for the starters who are leaving, knowing the game won't be a classic between 2 good teams? The hell if I would. I'd let the coaches and players get a taste of how many fans didn't show up because of the players choices not to play.
