Naive* Come on guys. Spell check has been a common computer device since the damn 90s
Be careful with that line of thought. LSU fans thought the same. Then after a couple terrible OC look where we are
This is about the best match up we could ask for with Donnie Alexander. He's a much smaller and much faster linebacker than Beckwith. Now obviously Beckwith is the better option hands down but if we have to play Donnie I sure am glad we're not playing a power running team. Donnie is super quick and is a sideline to sideline player. Obviously it's not going to be easy to stop Lamar Jackson but Donnie is fast and athletic enough. Does he have the instincts to beat Lamar to the spot and the aggressiveness to blow up blocks to get there? That's the true question.
This same tired argument keeps getting repeated. Kiffin wants to go to LSU because he thinks he can beat Nick. He wants to prove that he can be successful without Saban. No matter how good his offensive numbers are at Alabama everyone will wonder whether it was him or the Alabama effect. He needs to have success out from under Nick's shadow to truly rehabilitate his image and he won't get another P5 head coaching job until that question has been answered. This isn't risky. It's necessary unless he gets a non P5 gig and even then the question will remain.
So is everyone else. Idk if he's right or wrong. Idk if Herman is the next dynasty building coach or if he's the next Kevin Sumlin or Charlie Strong. Idk if Orgeron has changed or if he's the same old crazy ass Coach O that he was at Ole Miss. No one knows these things. Not a single living soul knows these things. All coaching searches are guesses. There are two sure things in this business, Saban and Meyer, everyone else is a gamble.
Your grasp on grammar seems to be as firm as your grasp on the game and landscape of college football. The word you're looking for is offensive. You know kind of like how black kids find your school offensive? Same word different context. Don't worry. We'll cover "context" in our next lesson.
He had a great 4th quarter and I'm really, honestly, trying to take anything away from the kid. He showed up when his team needed him most. However, that being said, he got all of his yards and points on an absolutely gassed and exhausted defense. Had our offense been able to sustain even a couple of drives in the second half to give our defense a chance to catch a breather then I think we're having a different conversation. I'm being as objective as possible here. But Aranda dialed up the scheme and for 3 quarters we had the athletes to completely negate Jalen Hurts . Even at the end our guys were in position but had just lost that one extra step necessary to stop an athlete of that caliber
Etling isn't scary I agree but stack the box and he will make you pay. Saban knows that as well. Fournette will get his yards. Whether he gets enough to win the game or not remains to be seen
He started the season off by dropping a lot of well thrown balls and just playing soft as hell overall. He was on the verge of getting benched. He has made a complete 180 from that start though thankfully
Are you kidding me? Has your country bumpkin ass never heard of a sazerac? It's one of the most respected cocktails in the world. It shares the same social status of a martini. I guess in your world of bud light and Franzia it'd be easy to miss.
Daaaaamn hanging your high school teammates out to dry just weeks before your senior season. That takes a special kind of cold blooded
If you truly watched all of LSU's game last season then you obviously weren't paying attention.
Since when is Chavis a "fantastic recruiter"? That is an absolutely laughable statement. He flat out DOESNT recruit. At all. One of the best defensive minds in the game but "fantastic recruiter" is damn hilarious.
Every school in the country wishes they had Frank Wilson heading up their recruiting department. Easily the best recruiter in the nation right now.
