While everyone was focusing on the top of the rankings this week, did anyone notice #23 USC and 22 ISU? USC only received 3 votes in the coaches poll and 6 in the AP Poll. However, the committee put a 7-4 team over a 7-3 Texas A&M team that was ranked 24 in both polls. The committee is beefing up the resume of both Utah and Oregon to justify them jumping Alabama. While Texas A&M has two difficult games coming up, their only losses were to Clemson, Auburn and Alabama (all ranked in top 15).
