To all who don't know, LSU has more natties since 2000 not named bama, than any team in the country including cleamson.
You simpleton, if they were not top 10 when they played them, they obviously couldn't say they beat 7 top 10 teams! Everyone understands that except you!!
Well they had the same team plus more with Jeudy, Ruggs , and Tua! So please explain your twisted logic. Because had Lsu played bama at home last year, it would've been a 20 point or more defeat! By the way who you got, Jerry Jeudy or Justin Jefferson??
I could be wrong, but I don’t remember bama ever leading in that game. Also don’t recall bama defeating 7 top 10 teams unaffected by covid and opt outs. So this is a comparison of apples and bowling balls!!
Bro the conference overall was terrible this year. Did you see how Florida the second best team was blown out in the bowl game!!
Yeah with same logic, florida was one score from beating bama this year.

Please don't lose sight of the fact that we had a historically bad spring & fall workout with a bunch of guys who had never played college football in live action. I could go on with underline reasons. So many of ya'll are lost on perspective its incredible!
I remember that patrick didn’t fair to well against the 3 headed monster Chase,Jefferson, and Marshal last year against LSU. So if he fails again against 1 elite receiver in the natty, perhaps he’s not as good as many think.

Who's better, Justin Jefferson or Jerry Juedy? Remember when the answer was Juedy hands down? Now it seems almost silly to ask that question!
SILLY MAN, WIN SOON?? He just won the nattie last year! He's making replacements as needed, so that he can maximize all the young talent he has now as well as 4 & 5 star recruits committed for next season.
Bro by LSU standards, they were terrible in 2019 until Ga. game! One of the worst in conference, and top 20. Go back and check the stats.
For much of the season, they we're at the bottom of the conference, and the worst in the top 20 in total D. Don't take my word, look up the stats. When time separate the events , sometimes things tend to look better than what they were in the moment, but it was terrible by historic LSU standards.
Look I'm not a Bo P. apologist, but the man came in under extremely difficult circumstances trying to implement a new D scheme w/primarily freshmen and inexperienced sophomores. By the way speaking of Aranda, have you forgotten just how terrible their D was until SEC championship, apparently so. There poor D play was the talk of the season as a glaring weak spot. By the way, what current 2020 committed or potential committed recruit leaves if Bo goes? Ole Miss vs bama this year 48pts, 268 rushing, 647 total yards against a primarily veteran D.
To be clear, LSU is a better program than every team in the sec except bama. There is no other team in the country who has won more natties than lsu since 2003 than lsu. Lsu had the longest 8 game winning seasons in power 5 football at 20 straight until this shortened season. This weird historically different season is an outlier, so they'll be back in contention for natties soon!
What D coach might that be, Todd Grantham who florida now want to get rid of??
Don't forget that lsu gave up 614 yds against ole ms last year, and much of the season was filled with historically bad D. Though many seem to want to revise history, I still remember!
I totally agree with you, and can't understand why others can't see that!
I wouldn't exactly consider Racy McMath an unproven WR. He has played a lot, and is expected to be a star this year.
What if LSU didn't have to play bama in natty a month after beating them in 2010? Answer, they would have another natty themselves.
Correction the greatest season in LSU history as well as the history of college football, full stop!
To all who keep making reference to " lsu returning to an 8 win season post all the key departures" Lsu isn't an 8 win program, and have won less than 9 games 3 times in 17 years. So I wish they would do research before making asinine comments!
I believe brennan will have a really good year, but no way will his numbers be better than burrow. If that is the case, they'll be playing for another natty! I believe that they can be in contention for playoffs again, but I am concerned about the loss spring practices that could hinder that effort.
