Miles ruined so many qbs it ain't funny. Jordan Jefferson,Jared Lee, Ryan Perriloux,Josh Booty, Brandon Harris are all qb who came from spread offenses and stuck under center in pro style under Les. Brandon Harris was Terrance Marshal hs qb and one of the top qb in the nation. This has never been an issue of lsu not being able to find a qb, instead lsu was where great hs QBs came to die.
Every ranked opponent LSU has played, has been in the top 10. When they play Georgia, that would be 2 teams they've played and likely beaten in the top 4, and 3 in the top ten. When the comparison argument is made with Ohio St., its always said that they beat these many(whatever the number) ranked opponents. The truth is, Ohio St. hasn't beaten anyone who was ranked in the top 10 at the time they played except Penn st., who they struggled with at home. Had they played that way against LSU or Bama(with Tua) they wouldve gotten smoked!!
Assuming LSU beats Auburn, they'll be number 1 by the selection committee going into the bama game.
Bama has beaten lsu the pass several years, but embarrassed them only 2 twice. Most games have been close until LSU's D gets tired, because of their past stone age offense. Just a point of fact I thought needed mentioning.
Interesting how all the talk is about how well Florida played against LSU,and admittedly they played better than most expected. However I think its worth noting that they scored a fluke td as time ran out before halftime, Delpit dropped a pick that ultimately led to a score, and Fulton had a pick called back due to a bogus beneath the knee call hit on Trask, even though it was clearly on the thigh. So given that, the game really shouldn’t have been as close as it was. LSU will be ready for Bama, and that secondary who's definitely not better than Florida's.

Yes because that 1 none P5 team is probably as good or better than anyone bama has played.
Kirby is not in the category of great among coaches, no better than M.R.
Texas would've blown Florida out in game 1, and would still win today at home.
I don't see it close either, so ill go with the Vegas handicappers to get eyes checked per your recommendation.
Just fyi,LSU is 58th nationally rushing, Florida is 108th
Florida really should've loss to Auburn, but for an extremely inaccurate qb who made way too many mistakes. If Florida turn the ball over 4 times Saturday night, they will lose by as many touchdowns. With no turnovers, they lose by 2 tds.
Not sure anyone would argue with FPI prediction of lsu vs bama, but if Lsu is able to make to bama undefeated, I feel really good about there chances to pull out a victory in Tuscaloosa
dont forget to mention that the last time Florida played at lsu les miles was the coach, which is a very important fact.
Anyone who watched this game know that LSU could've scored well into the 50's,but shut it down for the entire 4th quarter.
Interesting how the writer while discussing bama and their defensive issues , mentioned their "injury plaque dfense". However, writer failed to mentioned that LSU'S starting front 4 has been out 3 out of 4 games. This is a common omission of writers and talking heads when discussing Lsu & defense, and its curious.
Nebraska has another Jake Bentley at qb, very talented but make way too many mistakes.
Ohio st. has been ranked way too high many times, but they look extremely legit on both sides of the ball this year, while currently dismantling Nebraska
The reason lsu run game is ineffective is because burrow almost never keep on rpos. allowing the defense to key on rb. bama has the same issue with tua

There is a false perception peddled by the sycophant bama media that bama dominates lsu and every other team in the sec. The fact is, although bama has beaten lsu 7 straight, only a couple have been lopsided, with lsu having a chance to win but for a couple of missed opportunities. Most of these miscues have been attributed to qb play that was limited to mostly a gross lack of mobility, and as well as the inability to read defenses and go through progressions. The facts are 2017 lsu @ bama 24-10, 2016 0-10(with 3 obvious non called holds on the td jalen ran for),2015 30-16,2014 20-13(OT). So my point is that there has been no real dominance, just a liability at qb,we'll see what happens going forward.

Please tell me what team ranked ahead of auburn, beaten a team better than Washington? Oh and by the way, who has auburn and Miami loss to besides Lsu?
