I make my living on the radio. I am a die-hard Georgia fan. I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, my wife Cheyenne, my family, my dog Gus, and of course, Georgia football!

Georgia has 14 TFL as well. Good article but do your homework if you're going to be throwing out broad stats for the rest of the country let alone the SEC.
The SEC is still the best conference top to bottom in terms of talent and overall competition but no one can dispute the fact that the top teams from the SEC West had a poor showing in the bowls last year. You say that bowl season is irrelevant. I don't recall it being irrelevant when the SEC was winning 80 percent or higher of its bowls. So no bowls are absolutely relevant and the SEC West stunk it up last year. Does that mean the West was overrated? No, I don't think so; but I would argue that the disparity between the top programs in the SEC and around the rest of the conferences isn't that great. Now, after week 1, there are 10 SEC teams in the Top 25; sure that's great but some teams will not be come season's end. People forget how dominant the East was for years and how terrible the West was. Things have flipped since then but I would say don't get comfortable. The status quo always changes and with Tennessee clearly making strides under Butch Jones and Florida too good of a program to stay down for long along with Missouri and Gary Pinkel quietly still doing what they do, the East isn't going to be down for long. Go Dawgs!
Solid list but as a Georgia fan I have to say, Myles Garrett is the most dominant force we've seen since Jadeveon Clowney at S.Car. He was nearly un-blockable Saturday against Arizona State. I'm no pro scout but it's obvious that he is the most gifted player in the SEC and possibly in the country.
