Well, since you asked, I'll tell you. MSU has a SOS at #4 going into last weekend and an RPI at #2. The only 2 series that MSU has lost has been to Arkansas and Vanderbilt (#1 and #2, respectfully). MSU beat Vandy in the second game. Their non-conference games have been against Texas, Texas Tech and TCU. All 3 were ranked in the top 10 when they played them in Arlington, Texas at the beginning of the year...and all 3 are still ranked in the top 8. BTW, MSU beat Texas and Texas Tech. They lost to TCU (3-2) on a BS call to close out the game. They also beat USM, who is consistently ranked in the top 20. In conference, MSU swept TX A&M, swept Kentucky (who was ranked in the top 20 at the time), MSU only has Missouri and Alabama left in conference. So while MSU has 11 losses, so does Tennessee! But, while MSU is playing top 10 and top 20 teams in non-conference and beating them, Tennessee is playing teams like UNC-Greensboro, GA Southern, Austin Peay and losing to Lipscomb. You might be better served to be glad Tennessee is ranked as high as they are. TN should not be in the top 5.
