As an unabashed UGA fan/grad who also happens to be dating her cousin, it's possible she's just tired of me getting the family up here in the DC/MD/VA area to back the red & black.

Auburn swapped in the punter on 4th & 4, so Bama brought in its punt return team. When the punter then lined up as a WR, Bama decided to change personnel a second time. In his post-game press conference, Saban said it wasn’t fair that he didn’t get more time to make a second round of substitutions. Someone PLEASE defend that stance in an intelligent manner. I genuinely don't see how he could think he deserved a second substitution period.

UF fans complaining about the officiating must first atone for the South Carolina game.

That argument sounds a lot like the ones the Big 12 used to make... and we all ridiculed them for it. I hope the SEC isn't going to make a habit of playing Big 12 ball since smash mouth defenses have served the league well for decades now.

I remember when Charles Grant sounded completely illiterate in a post-game interview when I was a student at UGA. My first thought was "We're going on academic probation as a team." I say that to be completely transparent when I say, "How are these kids passing ANY classes when they have the reading comprehension of an 8 year old?"

I'm pretty sure we could fill that stadium all the way out in California.

Dual grad of AU and UGA here, so it's easy to see this game from both sides. Yes DoctorLarry, UGA did stop AU. Your point may be that AU was unable to make adjustments. Point taken, but AU had early success and a long sustained drive. That shows that a game plan was in place that had a chance of success. UGA made halftime adjustments that AU couldn't match with the personnel available. It was a quality win.

After UGA lost to Bama in the SEC Championship Game, he felt that his offensive line was too big (remember the stats being listed every game that they were bigger than the Dallas Cowboys) and wore down during games. He recruited smaller linemen and sped up his play calls. What happened after that? His offense ground to a near halt. Kirby is recruiting larger athletes to fit his desire of a smash mouth team. There's nothing wrong with that, but I hoped he'd make use of what he has at his disposal until his big uglies show up on campus.

I have no problem with him helping Bama. BUT, Bama should not have Pruitt until Kirby comes to Athens. Want Kirby? Let us keep Pruitt a little longer. Want Pruitt? Kirby is ours effective immediately.

I couldn't disagree more. I graduated from UGA and Auburn. 364 days a year it's EASY to love both.
