Can't we hire someone who is a normal human being and not quirky for a change?

I've been around long enough to know that when the higher ups want to get rid of you, they'll find all excuses to get rid of you. The bottom line is that if Coach O was winning at a championship level, he could have brought the entire Swedish Bikini team to practices and no one would care. The guy is getting canned because he has made some poor decisions, such as hiring Bo Pelini and Scott Linehan, however, the bottom line is that the AD wanted him out because he was not his man and maybe Orgeron was somewhat of a loose cannon. The AD waited for the opportunity to arise: the Auburn and Kentucky defeats. The announcement seems to quick. I think that if Orgeron had not won the Florida game, we probably still would not have heard he was leaving at the end of the season. Beating Florida started changing peoples minds in Coach O's favor, so the trigger was pulled before Coach O could possibly turn things around and regain public sentiment in his favor.

IMO, the problem will be LSU O-line against Alabama's D-line. So far, LSU has not faced the likes of an Alabama defensive line and defense in general. But I am optimistic that LSU is finally headed in the right direction.

As an LSU alumus, I think LSU should take the high road and give Texas the same seating for their band and fans as they do other visiting teams. There is no real point in this petty "tit for tat" and I think it is demeaning for LSU to engage in it. Also, the visiting locker room should be well-cooled for the players. We don't have to stoop down to the level of others.
