His word against hers. Classic way to get out of any crime. Especially when the person assaulted is incoherent and clearly unable to give any kind of consent. What purpose would she have to cry "rape"? It's not like he had made a name for himself yet when she filed the report. It wasn't like she had anything to gain from this. The only motive anyone could even think of is "bringing him down". Perhaps because of a failed relationship, perhaps she wanted more than just sex. However, that's a long stretch. I could see if money was motive. In this case, it is not true. She did in fact file a lawsuit against the University for not handling her case properly. People who defend these "stars" usually have a bias. Either because they like that team, or they're rapists themselves.
Don't worry FSU will end up like USC soon. Another has-been university plagued by NCAA Sanctions against them. The only difference is they'll go back to being nobodies making the ACC irrelevant once again.
Sure they do, but Jameis was not anywhere in anyone's mind when these allegations were made. The police brushed it under the rug. Sure when he made it big, people start looking into these people and things do come to light. It's not like Kobe Bryant's situation. This was a rape that was not pursued because Winston was a top prospect in FSU's football program. People think it is only being brought to light when these players are making a big impact in their careers. Surely this couldn't have been planned and people fail to understand that.
So SluvaTheLuva, it's safe to say then I can rape anyone who has no credibility? You definitely don't get it. A crime is a crime regardless if you think her credibility is tarnished from putting on dirty underwear. That doesn't make her a liar. You're probably a rapist too.
