It's funny that you say that because Ole Miss has 3 national championships while State has 0. Glad you were able to feel what it's like to be ranked number 1 for a few weeks last season though.

I am from Texas and I agree that Texas A & M has a way better and more loyal fan base than Texas.. However I have also been to Texas A&M games where the fans start to leave early when they are leaving, for example last year when we played at A&M and set a new attendance record for the SEC, half of the almost half the stadium was empty at halftime even with 110,000+ fans at that game.

State might give Vanderbilt a run for their money for last place this year, definitely will not be anywhere near 1st in the west though

I couldn't even name another reciever on the State team other than Derunnya and only because he played a hell of a game last year against us. Trying to base your success (which will be 8-4 at best) this year off 8 others that no one outside of Starkville knows is a little ridiculous...

Congrats on your 26 bowl wins, that's 3 more than us (23). You also have 11 more bowl losses than us... And saying you "weren't that bad throughout the 2000's" reiterates my point of you not being relevant for the past 15 years in the college football world. Also congrats on Drew Richmond, you were finally able to recruit a good player out of Memphis after we have consistently dominated you recruiting wise out of your own city. Also note that not once did I even bring up Ole Miss and say that we were better than you or have a better history but of course whenever a Vols fan hears the ugly truth about their football team being a thing of the past they have to resort to the old days when they actually were relevant. So in that case, it's funny that you bring up the TCU "slaughter" because we beat you by almost the same margin this past year (34-3).... Also we are 6-2 since 2000 in bowl games and have played in a bowl game every year the past 3 years. I am sorry but again, Tennessee is irrelevant in the past 15 years and will continue to be so until they consistently make it to and win bowl games. I cannot wait till we are in a better bowl game once again this year than those overrated Vols.

Tennessee fans LOVE to bring up old and outdated history yet if we bring up the history of the past 10-15 years they are a mediocre college team, at best. Congrats you made it to your first bowl game in 5 years!! Your bowl record since 2000 is 4-6 and your overall bowl record is 26-24, barely over .500! So much prestige! Until Tennessee starts to make it to bowl games (and win them) on a yearly basis in the current era they will be looked at as a mediocre team of todays world.
