Can someone please explain why we’re not talking to Deion Sanders and please don’t say lack of coaching experience. This would be a HOME RUN HIRE. At this point I feel like we’re afraid of success
Why would Kiffin plan on coaching at Alabama? Why wouldn’t he want to play against Georgia and Alabama every year? Your logic makes no sense whatsoever
Auburn would never hire a HC with no prior big time HC experience. Actually, I don’t think big time schools relish the idea of hiring ex-players, especially great players, in case things go badly. There’s a few cases, such as Spurrier at Florida, but it’s mostly looked upon as a bad idea.
Deions’ charisma and deep understanding of the game would be a perfect match at Auburn. Imagine the huge persona that Deion projects, matched up with the new $92 mil facility, the Jumbotron and the fan base. With the top recruits he would bring in and the excitement he’d bring, Deion would only have to be an average coach, but I believe he is well above average. So do Bo and Charles, two guys who truly love Auburn. I wish we’d listen to them
