This was a very good hire. Not having HC experience means nothing. (Kirby Smart???) He's a proven developer of talent. That's what's missing at Ark. He's already said he'll run a modern RPO offense so folks can stop all the talk of Bert. If he can hire a solid DC (Barry Odom?) they'll be just fine. Plenty of talent to win more than 2 games. The skill positions are loaded with young talent.
