Should NCAA abolish transfer rules and let players like Shea Patterson go where they want and play immediately?
I think it would be fair to say if you transfer you don’t lose a year but the school accepting you must commit to sitting you one year in scholarship. So if you have 2 years left the school is commuting to one year on scholarship and 2 years of playing after also on scholarship.
This means the school accepting you had to really want you since in effect they are giving you 3 years of scholarships for one year of playing.
