Lol, I figured the writer would catch a lot of heat for explaining it that way. It's really only us Hog fans that like the guy I guess :P
I couldn't agree with you more. I have been saying this since the Auburn game.. WE MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO ADJUSTMENTS. NONE.
Personally, I still believe in Beliema & his football philosophy. However, I must admit that I am still wondering why such a prestigious football coach has consistently failed to take charge & make the necessary changes with the games on the line. The adjustments we should have made were so simple & the entire coaching staff struggled throughout multiple games to make necessary adjustments.
Did you watch the same game? Yes, some unfortunate turnovers on offense cost us big time & yes, our offensive line needs a complete rework but our defense made CRITICAL mistakes that were fundamentally taught at a peewee level.
Was an article about this really necessary? Seems to me he was only doing it to keep Hurts from getting up before the whistle blew. It definitely should've been a penalty but give me a break, cut the kid some slack. Was not a dirty play at all.
