Next time use a credible source. The academic world considers USN&WR as their equivalent of the National Enquirer.
Didn't take long for Cam's extension to have an impact.
There is only one top 20 research institution between the east and west coasts. There is only one University entrusted to be head of one of the United States three biosecurity centers, which will produce the life saving vaccines in the event of a pandemic. That university is Texas A&M. But, I wouldn't expect an east coast journalism major to be very informed on engineering and scientific research.
Says the fan of a team that is ofer against the Aggies in their home stadium. Should rename Jordan Hare as Kyle Field East!
You gave us a country butt whippin that will be long remembered. But that isn't any reason to flame us. Bowl season is when it is time to play conference with pride, and the Aggies have won every one of their bowl games since joining the SEC. And Bama?
The statistics for Texas A&M are not correct. Check the bowl game starters. The Aggies lost 3 starters on offense and 2 starters on defense.
"LT University?" Luke Joeckel. Jake Matthews, Cedric Ogbuehi would like a word with you.
It isn't bad luck when the center hits himself in the butt with the ball. That is on the offensive line Coach.
There isn't a word in that article about Alabama, but Bama "fans" come on here cussing the fans of other teams who are the subject of the article. They have a deep seated problem.
BamaTime I graduated from Texas A&M when there were students living in quonset huts and it was where a lot of rural students came to learn. Most of the top recruits in Texas went to Austin. Don't ever presume to tell me what what Texas A&M has been.
We should bamatime alone. He is too young to remember DuBose & Shula as Head Coaches. I have spent a lot of time in Alabama, it is a great state but there are a few people that there is no reasoning with. The article was not about a good past or present winning percentage. In fact one of the qualifiers for being on the list is UNDERPERFORMANCE. And NO Texas A&M has not always had a lot of money, Texas A&M has NOT always had a rapidly growing number of former students (who contribute).
For most of it's history Texas A&M was a small military school that played a lot of it's biggest games on the road. A lot of schools have leather helmet scoreboard on us. Conditions have change. Now Texas A&M is on a trajectory to have the largest alumni base in the state. Think of Ohio State in the SEC except the Aggies have more money. If Sumlin doesn't win the conference soon. Somebody else coaching the Aggies will.
If you are building a football program, which is what the Aggies are doing, there is darn sure a lot better chance of success when you have more resources than your competitors. The gap will only grow with all the shale oil property as well as a huge rare earth deposit in west Texas which is on state land. $$ can buy football success. Texas Aggies have all heard the Baylor and TCU story before and they would beat us about once every 25 years. I am sorry Ole Miss embarrassed the SEC by laying down for TCU, but that is on Hugh Freeze.
Conditions change. Suwannee once played SEC teams and Texas A&M was a small military college for most of it's history. Now A&M has the largest student section in college football, the largest football stadium in the SEC, largest student enrollment in Texas and the SEC. The 7th largest endowment among all universities nationally. The Texas Aggies are no longer a backwoods little brother that can be bullied into submission. If Sumlin doesn't start winning conference and national championships, the Aggies have the money to hire someone who will.
