Score: 31-28 Georgia MVP: Jarvis Jones with a fumble scoop and score! Go Dawgs!
I would maybe even consider putting Georgia ahead of Alabama at this point. Georgia is playing very, very good football right now.
Johnny Football vs Alabama is going to be great! Really excited for this one.
Georgia has the talent to beat Alabama, but I'm not sure they can put it together. I don't have faith in Richt to get this team ready mentally and emotionally to beat the Crimson Tide. I hope I'm wrong. But, first let's please beat Auburn.
I think this is right. Though Florida beat LSU earlier in the season, most would say that LSU is a better team right now than Florida. If the Gators can knock off the Seminoles, I'll adjust my opinion.
I'm real excited to see Manziel take on Alabama's defense. Should be a great one to watch.
I'm glad that nobody gives the Dawgs a shot against Alabama. We're going to surprise everybody when the Tide's season ends in ATLANTA.
I thinka 4-team playoff is fine. Just don't go to 8 teams. For instance, right now you would have 1 Alabama vs 4 Oregon and 2 Kansas State vs 3 Notre Dame. That would be pretty cool. Although, this likely won't be this clean cut a month from now.
If McCarron's stats trends continue at night in Baton Rouge and the Tide roll to an easy win, I will be ready to call AJ McCarron the should-be Heisman winner.
Did you guys read the Jarvis Jones and Chizik quotes too and think those were real? C'mon man, the "What they meant to say" quotes are at the end of every William Wallace recap each week and are hilarious.
It wasn't pretty but I'll take it. Georgia was amped up ready to play. Other than Aaron Murray's first half interceptions, Georgia played well.
Have you watched any of the 2012 season?
"There are no atheists in foxholes"
Sundealer, what you've just said ... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
McCarron is having a great year, but I'm not sold yet on him as Heisman material. He's arguably had the easiest run thus far this season with regards to the Heisman candidates. The kid is a great player, but I am not ready to say Heisman yet. He's got the top O-Line in the country, prob one of the top RB corps, and he hasn't beat a top 25 team yet except for Michigan.... He can change my mind in a few weeks, but for now, he's not on my list.
This is sort of silly, but it's not that big of a deal. I agree with the author. By trying not to make a statement, they made a statement.
I sure hope the Dawgs show up this week. I'm worried about Florida's toughness right now. They are playing tough and believe they can beat anybody. That is big in the SEC. If we can establish our ground game, the offense will open up. We need the Georgia D to play its best game all year.
I think Florida deserves to be #2 especially after SC. There is no doubting that they've earned the ranking probably more than anyone else. I think most people still think Alabama would beat Florida, and that's a question that can be debated since they haven't played eachother yet. It's hard to go against Alabama, but anyone saying Florida doesn't deserve the 2 spot is dumb or has an agenda. A Florida-Alabama undefeated SECCG would be great, but I'm rooting for the Dawgs this weekend! Georgia still has a chance to get into the BCS. We're going to have to pick it up though.
Dawgs get LSU and at Auburn for the west games. Much tougher than this year.
Again, Tenn isn't really a quality win, but beating them in Knoxville is more impressive than beating them on your home turf like Georgia and Miss St both did. Tenn at home is Miss State's best win. Stop arguing with it. You'll have your chance to prove your worth.
Georgia beat Tennessee at home. Florida beat them in Knoxville. Road wins to matter. I think Alabama is better than Florida by a long shot, but I understand Florida has some quality wins. Too bad they will have some quality losses here shortly
Aaron murray is a good choice for this week. He should light it up against Kentucky. Especially compared to Johnny Manziel who has to play against LSU this week. I also think Lattimore has a good week.
I'm excited to watch LSU vs Texas A&M. I think LSU rolls over them. Also, I'm curious to see if Tennessee's passing game can put up a fight against Alabama. I doubt it. If Alabama wins in a blow out, Dooley's time is about up.
Is it just me or do you all think Alabama is going to absolutely annihilate Missouri this week? It's going to get ugly.
Can the Gamecocks last through this three week stretch? I know we basically gave them a bye week last week, but it's a brutal stretch that is tough for any team.
Chizik will survive, but I think he's already been shown to be just an average coach. It doesn't matter whether or not Chizik gets fired now or next year. He'll get fired either way. Unless he find another Cam Newton.
CLOWNEY!! That guy is a monster. He'd probably dominate the NFL this year too. I'm real impressed with Matt Elam as well. No Georgia players this week huh? Looks like the Bo Jackson award has a lot of volatility week to week.
I think Missouri and A&M both have a long road ahead of them. A&M beat Ole Miss guys. Just wait.
Because there's no humidity in Baton Rouge right?
