Various media bias reports rank NPR as center for printed news. I tried sharing various links to such reports but the comment is awaiting moderation for including outside urls. @Efftheleft: 1) I’m not sure why you scream about bias when your own username clearly indicates your own. 2) if you read my comment, you’d know I didn’t recommend the New York Times, so stop conflating sources. 3) Why is it a bad thing to have graduated from a top 10 public university that is also a perennially top ranked institution for athletics (beyond just football)? I’ll wait for a rational response to that one. 4) Men aren’t the only ones who are interested in college athletics.
@ UGADAWG78: I wish more fans on this site had your perspective. Glad to know I'm not alone. For anyone who insists that the nation's issues with COVID-19 are a result of its politicization by democrats and liberals: - Please look for reliable, non-partisan information. - It's best to quit watching Fox News. Try NPR instead. - Consider that people can support holding a college football season in the fall (specifically a season that is based on safety and allows student-athletes to opt out without losing scholarships/eligibility) and not support the current President (and his gross mismanagement of the pandemic). These things are not mutually exclusive.
Another grammar note: ending a sentence with a preposition is bad form.
Per your subsequent post: “Sure, but the University of Texas is really it’s own whole thing all on it’s own. I do not mean this as a compliment, to be clear.” For someone so concerned with grammar, you should know that it’s = it is and its = possessive. I find that IT’S best to practice what one preaches before criticizing others.
