Would be better for the program to lose on out so that there's no question to make a change. Fire him and pay him some of his buyout and challenge him to sue for the rest. There's a lot of USC Law grads who would love to take the case. Also, would set a precedent for other schools who made foolish hires with other people's money.

Should fire Muschamp for cause and dare him to sue. USC has a ton of Law School Grads who would line up to take him on in court and highlight his failures. Would set up a precedent for other schools in the same position where boards overspent on questionable hires
