What about my UGA fan friends who were so confident in their team’s ability to cover a 24 point spread at home against lowly South Carolina that they took that bet and were then so devastated after the loss that ruined their CFP chances that I didn’t want to ruin their day any more by asking them to pay up. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mac Jones look like a heisman trophy winner when Alabama inevitably destroys UGA in Tuscaloosa like they do every time those teams meet.
