This is typical, and understandable. Mullen has overachieved at State the past two seasons, and there are job openings. The media connects these rather obvious dots every year. In the case of Mullen, many folks have added the departure of Prescott as another "dot". Mullen may decide to leave, the iron is hot, but he seems to like his returning QBs as well. The level of Prescott's rise was not exactly predicted , so Mullen may see something similar in Fitzgerald, and has Williams there after a late redshirt. We'll see.
Interesting. And, I tend to agree with much of what you are saying. This particular gem from West Monroe may actually become somewhat of a cult hero in some circles. He certainly has that "nasty streak" that made Conrad Dobler famous, and Nick Fairley RICH. We certainly know that video evidence has become quite damaging these days, even if others are doing it (without getting "caught"). I do believe that the loss at home by the Tiguz will make this issue a sort of mission, in defeat. We shall see. Should be interesting to see if his "style" actually helps him in the long run. He would NOT be the first.
What were they? And, for how many games? Was it the commish that banned him? or the DAWGS?
The bullies plucked this guy from West Monroe. He looks like the Conrad Dobler of the SEC. His behavior will eventually be received with a cult following.
I would castrate him, then make him play in slippers the rest of the season.
Awesome, someone who actually heard about his intentions. You should go to the commish of the SEC with this info. As for any fans of any team relishing the spoils of victory, bringing up the past only makes YOU look like the sore loser (and past winner). Take you medicine when you get you butt whoooooped. After all, it is college football. They are kids, on teams for a few years at most. Trust me, those players feel it more than you. And, probably are more humble about losing, this year. TONIGHT.
"Trashy of Mississippi State"? How 'bout the player. C'mon, do we really need to take it to another level. This was an individual player. And, though he needs a "whoopin'", there is zero evidence that this is a "Mississippi State" issue.
I agree. There is no place for it, though I recall Nick Fairley being involved in countless dirty plays throughout an entire season. Unlike the NFL, there are no fines handed down, and seldom suspensions.
