Deserve to be there???? I agree with BTucker below, not with a 30-0 loss to a 6-6 Arkansas team. I'm astonished that the committee basically ignored that butt kicking. BTW, that "dominated it's in-state rival from the start" win over MSU was an Ole Miss lead of 7-3 at halftime, MSU lead 14-13 in the third quarter, and it only became more than a one score game when Ole Miss went ahead with by two TDs with 9 minutes to go in the game. The fact that the home team has won 10 out of the last 11 games, and 14 out of the past 16 manages to elude writer's research. Me thinks someone might has a little crush on OM, as no team with 3 losses, especially a 30-0 loss to a .500 team should make the top bowls. Everyone talked about the top teams having "bad losses", but for some reason this one was ignored. Just because certain writers keep pushing OM to go back to their days of glory doesn't make it real. I keep reading one writer who says OM is on the "brink of excellence". If the brink of excellence is having at least three losses every season under Hugh Freeze, then they are there.
