Arkansas has had so many misfires @ hiring basketball coaches since Nolan Richardson almost destroyed the program... First taking the program that Eddie Sutton built... from the ground up, to a winning program... with a huge solid foundation... To greater heights... final fours and Arkansas' only National Championship in basketball... When fired the lawsuit and stigma it created almost destroyed the continuity of a winning program... Many mistakes were made hiring coaches after Nolan... During and after the fiasco of Richardsons' firing I could see fault on both sides... Nolan had taken Arkansas to the promise land... but, the clam of racial mistreatment was unfounded... Nolan had not been forced to ride on the back of the bus in thirty or forty years... None of us were responsible for that ever happening, which was very wrong in its context... I hate to bring up ole bones, but am eery of the mistakes that happened during this time and the years following... I was elated when Mike Anderson was hired and I still am a fan of Mike Anderson, who is genuinely a fine man, all around... Mike is an excellent coach and for whatever reason he could not get over the hump to restore Arkansas to the golden years... Personally, I thought he might need to rethink his assistants... maby to improve recruiting etc.. I had and still have mixed feelings on his termination... I was disappointed Arksnsas did not go harder after Texas Tech's and Witchita State's current coaches... Someone who had been there and done it... I do not know much about Eric Musselman...,but I believe in giving anyone a chance... Time will tell... but, what do I know... I don't like Pepsi either...

I hate it that Mike Anderson just could not get over the hump to return Arkansas Razorback Basketball back to the glory days... Mike is such a nice classy guy and for Arkansas to let him go gave me such mixed feelings... I wish there was some way for the NCAA to clean up college sports... The cheating makes it very hard and unfair for someone like Mike to compete... Schools and coaches buying players all the time and some get probation... and are on probation... Then the very next recruiting class they still got that bag... Sad... Sad... The NCAA should punish the school severely and the coach should be banned from coaching collegiate athletics for life, when caught cheating... I'm for going all out to hire Chris Beard but with family close bye to Lubbock that may prove to be a hard task... Chris Beard, but with family close to Lubbock I feel that may be an impossible chore...

Cheaters like Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss should be punished severely and not just be given a slap on the wrist... Hugh Freeze is a cheater and has no morals... Ole Miss is an hibutal cheater who signed... what was it.?. 31 new football scholarships for 2019... How in the world do you morally and legally get away with that, while being on probation for giving excessive benefits... and I hear they still got that bag... I would not go across the street to watch a Hugh Freeze football team... I do not care what he does... I wish Arkansas would not play any team he is part of... Guess I'll stay at home...,

I hope he lands a good paying job quickly... and can not hide his earnings... His ole buddy Jeffery used his carpetbegger skills to sucker Kansas into hiring him... I hope both are paid extremely well so Arkansas can for-go paying out the ludicrous contracts that Jeffery gave Bielema and himself... In the future I hope the Board of Trustees gets a handle on these contracts and has to have the full board vote to approve such things... Take it out of the Athletics Director and Chancellors hands.. People like John White and David Gearheart... Joe Steinmetz... along with the carpetbegger Jeffery... has about ruined the program... Go Hogs !

I was very happy when Coach Morris retained Coach John Scott from the previous staff... I hate to see him go, but I understand family has to come first... I wish Coach Scott the best... Definitely a man of character and a class person... Enjoy your family Coach... Best of Luck in your future endeavors... Go Hogs Go !!!

I don't know much about Ben Hicks, but He is dealing with a totally different Animal, when playing in the SEC West... In the SEC West all the teams beat up on each other week in and out... This is man football, with corn fed athletes... In the ACC you have Clemson and really nobody else... Yes, some of these weaker conference teams, like maby. , the Southland, or Conference USA... Maby some other weaker conference teams, will play way above their head and knock off an SEC West Team, once in a Blue Moon, but if they had to play them every week, they would loose 8~ 9 times, out of 10..... Go Hogs Go!

Great win for Clemson, Dabo, and Staff. Some say the ACC has passed the SEC as America's best conference.... I disagree... In the ACC there is Clemson and then there is nobody... The SEC teams beat up on each other, week in and out,all season long... The SEC did not fair well in bowl games jyhis season. Georgia stunk up the sugar bowl and clearly did not want to be playing there... Every bowl game that an team played in this season... All played un-inspired, and their opponent seemed to be playing over their head, other than Auburn's game... No way should Texas have besten Georgia...

Good choice for Sosa... A 5 star recruit out of Hope, Arkansas... Who could have gone almost anywhere he wanted, but for some reason has underperformed at Arkansas... I thought he was either being used out of position or maby he lacked want too... Maby both... or... surrounded by mediocre talent which Arkansas' roster is full of... None of Arkansas' players should be thinking of leaving early, because they have done nothing... lacking in performance... Maby two or three... Sosa being the most talented might make an NFL roster.., but all would have to improve... and Sosa is being smart to stay his last year to try and improve his play... To get his stock up, because his performance has not been good, for a 5 star recruit... Go Hogs Go !

As we all know Arkansas plays in the SEC west... Arkansas' failure on the field the past several years can be contributed to lack of consistently recruiting talented players... I am excited about Coach Chad Morris' and staffs ability to recruit relative to Arkansas' record the past several years... which has been atrocious ... Arkansas has made millionaires out of an Athletic Director who came in with his Carpetbagger ideas and personality... who brought in a proven head coach... who could not recruit or keep quality assistants... I not only look at a recruits star rating... but especially who offered him... Stormburg is rated a two star then a three star and 247 sports rates him a four star... by three recruiting services... He does not have an impressive offer list... This part is disturbing on most of our offensive line recruits... I know a first year head coach has to start somewhere... and with Arkansas' record the past several years... this may be the best Arkansas can do... Arkansas has suffered through three head coaches who wouldn't or couldn't recruit... for whatever reasons... Numerous opinions have been shared and given... I have mine... from laziness, lack of effort, stubbornness, pissing off Texas High School Coaches at a Convention... Telling them "" I will line up and run over your spread teams"".... Now that was smart... Promoting an excessive walk on program... Alienating the High School Coaches in Arkansas' best recruiting grounds... I am concerned that Arkansas did not sign the best two offensive tackle recruits in Arkansas... both four star recruits... Both oped to leave the state for other schools... It wouldn't be in their favor after college to come to my company and apply for a job... I hope Coach Chad Morris can use this recruiting class which has me excited as a spring board for a better class next year... Everyone is excited but it's still rated in the middle of the pact of the SEC west... Arkansas has to buld on this class and recruit a better one next year in and out... If Arkansas does not... Old Bubba will eat out lunch and Coach Morris will be gone...

An informant notified the drug task force... Undercover enforcement officers purchased marijuana from Dee Walker... Officers got a search warrant and found Marijuana, Digital Scales,Zip Lock Baggies in kitchen cabinets... Officers found Xanax on table... The Ar-15 was in the bed room leaning up against the wall by bedroom door... Anyway his arse is gone... which it should be... My understanding is SDS does not do much investigative work but mostly gets their stuff from other news outlets and sources... which is fine with me... I enjoy reading all that I can sports related and sort through some of lack of detail or information, misinformation...

If history repeats itself and Kelly Bryant is the type of player seeking an early payday... Auburn is likely the destination for Kelly Bryant... Auburn bought Cam Newton out of Blenn College and is well versed in shady dealings... Like Ole Miss... "They got that bag".....

Let me make it clear... I do not think the Razorbacks could have won this game. This was not the only play Alabama held on... Alabama's offensive line held all day... You could see the official's looking right at the infraction's and he would not make the call.... The overturned call on fumble saying the back was down was another poor call.This is typical when you play Alabama..... Which has the elete athletes to beat anyone and needs no help... This is not new when it concerns Alabama. The obvious non calls and bious officiating has got worse since Nick Saban became coach... In my opinion the Texas Longhorns get the same breaks... I have watched that for years...Texas beats Oklahoma and jumps what... 10 places up in the college football poll..... There is no room in college athletics for cheating by officials and schools cheating in recruiting... Those that do should be punished severely and not just given just a slap on the wrist..... which we have witnessed as of late....
