Update for 12/7 22 Texas A&M 19 Florida 12 Alabama 12 Arkansas 11 Missouri 9 Auburn 9 Ole Miss 6 South Carolina 6 Tennessee 4 LSU
I did a little arithmetic. Source from AthlonSports current transfer portal: 15 Colorado State 15 Florida Tied for most in nation. Other notables: 13 TAMU 11 Arkansas 10 Missouri 9 Alabama 7 Kentucky 7 Ole Miss... Again, it would be alarming if the players were starters or likely had a chance at starting. Vast majority from all these teams were not. That being said - can UF safely field a team for the bowl? Our QB will be who? Miller? Anyone else?
Ouch... but you're probably right!
I actually agree with Kanell here. Wow, that was weird to type.
I'm puzzled how any coach on the USF coaching staff would be poached away. That program needs a lot of work.
I'm annoyed I even had to scroll through that. There has to be some sort of character limit implemented. We'll call it the Negan rule.
100% - if it can't be the Gators - all that matters is an SEC team wins the hardware. I'm rooting for both Georgia and Alabama. Eff the rest!
Excellent idea! I needed a good chuckle this AM. Thank you
I just can't stop laughing. We got rid of the BCS because of all of the controversies surrounding certain teams being placed over others. But even with the playoff committee we still see the same from the entire country. It's the same every year. And we think expanding will solve this? Please.
Have to agree with ATL Buckeye, here. There is no way they aren't going to OSU UM, assuming UM takes care of Sparty this weekend.
After the Gators' season has been derailed, I'm all for this scenario.
Now dig through the rest of the NFL's emails from the last 10 years - there won't be a single player or coach remaining.
Sad but looking at last week it might be warranted
I don't disagree. The Swamp is tough, so is Jordan-Hare. Every week Alabama gets every team's best shot. This isn't new to Saban or any other player on that squad. Most times the other team falls short, but occassionally we get great games and an underdog victory. That's why they play. I'm rooting for a good game at the very least. Last time we played it was incredible, but I don't think we're anywhere near the quality of team that played last year.
This is definitely better than everything else right now. I'd still enjoy no commentary with only a live feed from the stadium. You'd get the fan noise and the PA announcer for each stadium. That would be far more enjoyable.
At some point they'll be correct, but it is getting tiresome of seeing all of the hype with them falling on their face so frequently. This could be the year the preseason pundits are proven correct, but I'm just tired of hearing all of the noise just to see them fall flat year after year.
Both of which would come after the fact, so any penalty mid game is a fantasy. Especially in today's climate where such a strong emphasis is placed on player safety.
Think it will be a lot closer than what Vegas thinks...
