I think we will be able to tell more after the game against MS State.
Yeah man it gets old. But it beats getting trampled year after year. So I guess there is some brightside to it. There aren't many "better" options out there so when "fans" call for CMR to be fired I just laugh.
That Bama D is a different breed man. They're incredible. Very suffocating. Strong and fast. I enjoy watching them play.
That is why I started by saying "Not to take anything away from Henry". I never doubted his raw talent.
Its not really reaching when we're talking about raw stats here. Whether or not it was garbage time or not (which I'm agreeing that it was) it was still a 100+ yard rusher against this stellar Alabama defense. If we're going to go with that logic how many people who have been up or down by 4 scores or more with >5 min left have racked up a large amounts of yards during "garbage time"? (And no my comment has nothing to do with the fact that I am a UGA fan. I am a fan of the SEC and I enjoy seeing all of the teams succeed.) From what I've seen while being apart of the SDS community for such a short time is that they lack giving credit when credit is due, and also like to start a lot of drama between all of the fans on this site. Not saying your comment was wrong about "garbage time" but I am saying that your comment about "reaching" is incorrect.
Not to take anything away from Henry, but the answer to your question is the offensive line for Alabama. They have stepped up against the best competition to allow Henry to run through holes that you could drive a mac truck through. They get to the second level so easily because their communication and the way they seal off blocks is impeccable. This is the best line I've seen in awhile from Alabama.
I don't believe that either were cheap shots. The stepping on the face he was just trying to get away from the pile. It sucks to see anyone get season ending injuries.. Best wishes to Tuttle on a speedy recovery.
Awesome read. Love the way you analyzed the running style of Michel.
