A&M at four? Please. Michigan and Ohio state are better than A&M. At least try and pretend not to be bias.
Did they at least get paid to show up?
I'm pretty sure they're not "terrified" of the SEC. It's about money, plain and simple.
Gonna be hard to replace Hutchinson but he could be some help if he can stay out of trouble and stay in school.
I agree with this. I'd also say that because of the type of defense Don Brown plays, leaving the corners on an island with Alabama's wide-outs is dangerous if TUA has time to throw. If they played...Michigan would absolutely have to pressure TUA or he'd eat them alive over the top.
I live down here in the great south (Alabama and a Tide fan) and I'm a numbers kinda guy so I had to look some stuff up. Here's what I found. Michigan lost by 7 at Notre Dame and shut them out in the second half. ND is currently #3 in the country. The average Big Ten team ranking they beat was 51; 5 games. Alabama SEC opponents ranking through 5 games is 59. So they're playing slightly higher ranked conference opponents overall. Through a full 8 games so far, Michigan's average opponent ranking is 52. Alabama's is 72. The average defense through 8 games that Alabama has faced is 84. Michigan's is 56. Alabama has faced slightly higher offenses with the average being 51 to Michigan's 68. Alabama has face some terrible defenses with an average passing yard allowed ranking of 77 to Michigan's 64. Which might skew TUA's numbers a bit in comparison since Michigan is a run first, eat the clock, type offense. So really, I don't see him being too far off. Michigan is definitely a threat to make the playoffs if they continue to play top shelf defense and do enough on offense to win games.
