In addition to this, a somewhat packed bowl game is more fun to watch and be apart of (if you're in the stadium) than a stadium that's 10-25% full if you put the game too far away from the teams' home city.
Birmingham metro has Hoover Met, Regions Park, Rickwood Field, and UAB's baseball stadium all in a 30 minute drive of one another.
If 2-10 Vandy is in the conversation and if we want to have the most competitive and most viewed game possible, then I would like to see Nebraska get invited honestly. Nebraska might even be favored, LOL!
All of this dismantling of Auburn's program from being ranked every year and having the magic voodoo to completely falling apart and barely making a crummy bowl game. Should've never fired Gus.
Pretty great mindset. I like to see players who don't act soft like Lebron in the pros.
There needs to be total geographical conference realignment. (For instance, SEC shouldn't be the biggest, most powerful super-conference. It should be Alabama-Mississippi-Tennessee schools of FBS or something) This will bring more parity to the sport instead of having conference alignment based upon program prestige and media market. Further splitting FBS will alienate a lot of fans of small-time teams and hurt CFB popularity.
Houston is going to blow Auburn out of the water. They are a competitive team looking to make statements while Auburn got their hearts ripped out and don't have a pulse. Many casual Auburn fans in Birmingham going home disappointed before the 4th QTR. They can at least have solace knowing they don't have to endure the impending beatdown in Legion Field anymore!!
Hey i'm sure the Houston players will be glad to visit the world famous tourist destinations such as: The Golden Flake factory, local bowling alley, and the to-be-condemned Legion Field LOL
Auburn is gonna get absolutely skull-dragged as the 40,000+ casual Auburn fans look in horror for this game. Too many injuries and off the field drama. Houston is good and Auburn cannot see where their program truly stand with their noses so high in the air. UH- 41 AU- 17
As a Vandy fan... I guess I will wear my Gold and black and root for Purdue at the Music City Bowl. Closest I can get to Vanderbilt actually being there
I am team chaos, and so is much of the country. I really hope one of these teams knocks out the other of contention. Praying for a Cincy natty honestly.
Vols Guaranteed to be condemned to the Birmingham Bowl LOL
